This book is both an easy read and a hard one - Saini has a real talent for writing and the books flows wonderfully, but the content of the book shows humanity at some of it's darkest points. This book is timely, important, and reveals some of the nasty (and false) ideas behind commonly believed 'truths' about race. It also starts with a chapter on Indigenous Australians and Saini even visits Western Australia to view rock art, so it really hits close to home.
