On Thursday 8 October, Mundaring's internationally acclaimed chef, Theo Kalogeracos, will appear with a range of his award-winning pizzas to sign copies of his recently released book Theo & Co. Theo's pizza can only be described as incredible. Make sure you're at Boffins this particular Thursday to see what all the fuss is about.
To coincide with the annual Spring in the Valley celebrations, Perth's Boffins Bookshop is bringing Spring to the City. Commencing on Monday 5 October, five of Australia's leading chefs will appear at lunchtimes throughout the working week at Boffins. The week will feature four of WA's most celebrated local chefs - Jude Blereau, Emmanuel Mollois, Kate Lamont and Theo Kalogeracos - and the queen of Australian cooking, Stephanie Alexander. The culinary delights of each chef will be on show with samples of some of their signature dishes free to all who attend.
Theo Kalogeracos runs a very special restaurant called Little Caesars in the Perth hills. It has become such an icon that most of their customers take the 50 minute drive from central Perth to enjoy the food and atmosphere. Theo, a one time baker, is now a multiple award-winning pizza maker with many world titles including the 2006 Las Vegas Italian Chef Wars Winner.
