Events Dr Ed Tronick - National Seminar Tour

Boffins is proud to be a part of the Australian Childhood Foundation's latest International Speaker Seminar - a one-day seminar and workshop with Dr Ed Tronick.

Both practitioner and researcher, Dr Ed Tronick is a developmental and clinical psychologist and is recognized internationally for his research on infants, children and parenting.

In this workshop, he will discuss his influential research and writings on the neurobehavioral and social-emotional development of infants and children. He will also present his Mutual Regulation Model, Dyadic States of Consciousness and the “Still Face Paradigm” which have revolutionised the field’s understanding of infant emotional capacities.

An internationally recognised expert on child development, Dr. Tronick’s unique perspective as both a renowned researcher and clinician provides a distinctive power to his work. Through the use of DVD’s, lecture, discussion and illustrative examples, Dr. Tronick will address the development of infant capacities for neurobehavioral self-organisation, the organisation of early infant-adult interactions, and how we understand the nature of normal versus abnormal development.

More details about the event can be found on the ACF's website.

Dr Ed Tronick holding a copy of his book The Neurobehavioral and Social-Emotional Development of Infants and Children is Dr Tronick's latest book, a perfect accompaniment to the seminar. Boffins will be attending the event and selling copies of this and many other books representing the latest in the field.
