Events Anzac Leadership Literary Luncheon with Tim Fischer

Boffins Bookshop in partnership with RSL WA & Legacy WA present Anzac Leadership Literary Luncheon, with guest speaker Tim Fischer AC.

Join us as Tim Fischer talks about best-selling new book, Maestro John Monash and discusses Anzac Leadership. Tickets include two course meal and a drink on arrival.

Who was the most innovative general of World War One? For Tim Fischer, the answer has to be Australia’s ‘Maestro’ John Monash, a man who, for all the recognition he received in his lifetime and after, has arguably not been given his proper due.

Tim Fischer was born at Lockhart on 3 May 1946, and was educated at Xavier College in Melbourne. He was conscripted into the Australian Army in 1966 and served in The Vietnam War. He entered Politics in 1971 and became Deputy Prime Minister in 1996, Ambassador to the Holy See in 2008 and is now a successful book author. Tim’s other interests are notably family, farming, charity work and biking and bushwalking in Bhutan.

Tickets are strictly limited, secure your spot today via Trybooking.com!
