- How do I join?

- How much does it cost?
- Nothing. It’s free.
- How do I get the discount and what books can I get it on?
- After you've signed up in the provided form, the next time you log in to your Boffins Account, you will see the discount automatically applied to our special titles listed at your home page or the special offers page.
- What books are part of the BBYA club reading list?
- The current reading list is provided on the YA Club home page. You can see it here: boffinsbooks.com.au/yaclub Your reviews must come from this list.
- How do I submit reviews?
- Use the worksheet provided in the resources section to record your notes while reading the book, and then email your finished review to [email protected] with your full name, and if you want a photo attached to your review, please send one. Also, if you have a personal book blog you would like us to link back to, we’re more than happy to share. You must satisfy the prerequisites as per question number 6.
- What are the prerequisites for having a submitted book review count towards your free book tally?
- book reviewed must be from the Boffins Books YA Club approved reading list
- review must be of your own work (no plagiarism – see here for a definition of plagiarism: http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/plagiarism )
- review must roughly be between 200 and 400 words
- reader can use the free template available for download from the BBYA club website page
- review must be accepted by a Boffins staff member and approved for upload to our website
- review must be honest, demonstrate knowledge of the book content beyond the back cover blurb, not include profanities or offensive language or prejudice.
- review must be submitted via email as either a word doc attachment or as text copy in the email itself to this address: [email protected]
- Do you have a template I can use to help me with writing a review?
- Yes, you can download the printable PDF worksheets from here.
- How often will I receive information from you?
- We will send emails at varying intervals to advise you of YA Club information only. You may get these emails on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis depending on when we have news to share with you.
- The discount code will be emailed monthly
- Facebook updates will occur more frequently

- Do I have to purchase books from you for the reviews?
- No, you can also visit your local library. As long as you are selecting the books from our reading list, you can submit the review.
- Can I pick any book for my free book redemption?
- Free book will be from a selection Boffins will provide upon redemption. Members must be able to come into the store to pick up the free book, or pay for postage themselves.
- Do I have to live in Perth, Western Australia to join?
- No. You can submit your reviews via email so you can be located anywhere in Australia
- Most events are held within the Perth CBD, so being within travelling distance will ensure you get the most out of the club
- Some offers will only be valid for people who are able to come into the store to claim.
- What age restrictions are there on the club?
- There are no age restrictions.
- Will you have book club meetups?
- We are currently looking into hosting book club meet ups. If this is something you are interested in, please let us know on [email protected].
