This felt like a fantasy, romance and historical fiction rolled into one. Addie makes a Faust-like deal with a dark god and now has eternity to face the consequences. It made me think about what I would wish for. This was enticing and difficult, I couldn’t help but feel genuine distress for her struggles! Can she break the curse, or will she lose everyone and herself?
