Broken Fingaz (BFC) is a psycho-pop collective of four young Israelis from Haifa. BFC began in 2001 as graffiti artists, but soon became internationally active in multiple disciplines: street art, animation, installation, painting, murals, and graphics.

With their unique visual style a mix of skateboard visuals, pulp comics, B-movies, and neo-psychedelics they breach the wall between the so-called High Arts and popular culture. They have a worldwide fan base and have produced artwork for, among others, U2, Beck, Pearl Jam, and Blink 182. BFC has participated in group shows at the Saatchi Gallery London ('Alchemy', 'Jealous Needs You') and 'Beyond the Streets' in New York. They have already published limited edition fanzines, which sell out immediately. This is the first monograph on their work. 'They are very nimble, problem-solvers as well as artists' - Bono in the Art Newpaper 'Their work is colourful and controversial' - BBC Radio 'Not everyone has their talent' - The Independent AUTHOR: Charlotte Jansen is an arts and culture journalist based in London.
