This volume collects the work of 25 Italian designers whose cultural and professional roots go back to the last century, offering an insight into the history of Italian graphics in the second half of the 20th century. The graphic designers currently appear in AGI for Italy, described here through a selection of projects, iconic works and experiences of each one's career.
Published on the occasion of the exhibition of the same name - born in collaboration with the Alliance Graphique Internationale on the occasion of the 70th AGI Congress Trieste 2022 - the book is introduced by an essay in which the curator Carlo Vinti explores the transformations that have invested the profession of graphic design between the 1950s and the end of the century, recounting the parallel developments of Italian graphics and the Alliance Graphique Internationale.
